8th House: Intensity
I wanted to revisit the Eighth House by lightly touching on the kind of emphasis the house brings on the planets . While this isn’t the major theme of the eighth house, you’ll notice that the characteristics of the planet are brought into extremes in a way that intensify the experiences the planet brings to the native. This is because the Eighth house is traditionally ruled by Mars, with its modern ruler being Pluto. These planets are the catalysts for drive, intensity, purpose, and action (Mars more direct, but Pluto hidden and more powerful).
